Welcome to www.willowmeliafindlay.com — the online home of my illustration and graphic design work. By visiting this site, browsing the shop, or commissioning me for a project, you agree to the following terms. They’re here to make everything clear and fair for both of us.

1. About This Website

This site is owned and operated by me:

This website showcases my work, shares updates, offers creative services, and sells selected prints and products.

2. Services I Offer

Through this site, I offer:

Illustration – including children’s books, editorial, event graphics, and product illustration
Graphic Design – including branding, visual content, and book layout
Custom Commissions – made-to-order illustrations and collaborative projects
Shop Products – including art prints and other illustrated items

3. Commissions & Projects

When booking me for a commission or design project:

I’ll send you a written quote or proposal
A deposit (usually 25%) is required before work begins
We'll agree on a timeline, deliverables, and licensing rights
Final files are delivered once full payment is received

Revisions:
One round of revisions is usually included. Additional changes may be charged at a rate of £30 per revision, unless otherwise agreed.

Cancellation:
If a project is cancelled after work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. If more work has been completed, a partial payment may still be due.

4. Licensing & Ownership

All illustrations and designs I create are protected by copyright. When you commission work from me, you’re purchasing specific usage rights, not full ownership — unless we’ve agreed to a buyout.

Usage rights vary based on your needs (e.g. print only, digital use, exclusivity, etc.) and will be clearly outlined in your quote or contract.

Please don’t reproduce or resell my work beyond the agreed terms without written permission.

5. Shop Terms (Prints & Products)

Shipping & Delivery:
Orders are processed and shipped within 5–7 working days unless stated otherwise. UK orders typically arrive within 1–3 business days after dispatch. International delivery may take longer.

Returns & Refunds:
I accept returns or exchanges for damaged or incorrect items — just contact me within 14 days of receiving your order. Change-of-mind returns may not be accepted due to the small-batch nature of my work.

Custom or personalised items (e.g. commissioned work) are non-refundable.

6. Payments

Payments can be made securely through my online shop or by invoice for commissioned projects. All prices are in GBP (£).

Late invoice payments may be subject to reminders or late fees in line with UK regulations.

7. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

All artwork, designs, text, and images on this website belong to Willow Melia-Findlay
You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content without my permission
You’re welcome to share my work online, but please credit me where appropriate

8. Website Use

This website is here to share my work and services. Please:

Use it respectfully and legally
Don’t attempt to hack, copy, or misuse any content or code
Don’t submit offensive or harmful content through forms or contact channels

9. Privacy & Accessibility

Any information you share through this site is handled in line with my Privacy Policy and Accessibility Statement. I’m committed to making the site as inclusive and respectful of your privacy as possible.
